2015 GS base spec.. how much?

indeed this is true. as you say.. I too have noticed the £1K-£1.5K increase already this year!... Dec / Jan time you could get a 2014 GS TE at my local for £9K.. they are up at £10.5 now...
That said, there are more coming on the marlet so that could drive costs down a tad.. but supply and demand I guess.. and looks like a lot of people buy in Spring??

So.. forgetting the time of year... Do we think £8.3 K is a good deal for a base bike (2015 plate and 11K miles?)

well. I bought one.. the one off e-bay LOL... got it for £8250 with warrenty and full MOT... just serviced, 2 new tryes... and have let me have some brand new panniers for £400... took it out for a spin (although it was wet)... very nice indeeed... pick it up next weekend after the tyres are fitted and the MOT is done!!... can't wait... obviously talked to the organ grinder this tme and not the monkey as he was willing to talk on price :)... obviously qite a discussion LOL..
But its MINT.. not a mark.. also talked with the first owner and had a look at his new s1000rr... very nice.. but always good to talk to him to see if the bike has any issues... he even changed the oil inbetween services... ??

Well done you for getting a grand off the bike and well done them for selling you the panniers that probably came with the bike for £400 :D

It's a win/win :clap

no, they were new in their box.. been bought for a guy who never collected them... that said, probably sold for what they paid... so still win / win...

You got alloy wheels?! What were you thinking?? Real men have spoked wheels. You can tell real men because they have no skin on their knuckles and their wheels look like they need cleaning. Or else their knuckles are healing up but are still quite badly scarred... and their wheels are absolutely fifty!

Enjoy your new bike - she looks really good.

Cheers guy's.. got to say over the twin cam, even in the wet on rain setting, it does feal a lot tighter and more responsive.... it was actualy sunny and dry in Manchester today (except for the 15 mins when I had the test drive).... but forcast snow again for weekend :(
so.. what to fit.. crash bars or head covers ?... and what make are best..... feal a new post coming on... :)

Did have spokes on my last one... love spokes and would have them again as the look ace... but.... it has alloys... sure I'll get used to it ;)

Little box on the top says advanced search, surely you will find 99% of your answers in there, just takes a little time to read, so snow is coming time to read.....:aidan

why search and read, when you can have fun posting a question thats been asked many times, and have really constutive and helpful comments by like minded fellow bikes who want to contribute!....

Okay... I'll use the box... ;)

congrats on new bike and sounds like you got a good deal.
i mentioned earlier about the VIN decoder - there are a few of them - try this one:

http://decodervin.pl

You need the last 7 digits of your VIN number - enter them into this site and it will show the original build options.

remember - the 'TE' thing is just created for some markets - all GS's are built with different things - it'll show you exactly what it was built with
