I don't know if its just me but after complaining the my old 2006 GS leant over too far to easily get it off the side stand my new GSA Low has the opposite problem.

Three time yesterday I had to move it because I either couldn't get the stand down or lean it over enough to get off of it.

This happen a lot on holiday when loaded with pillion when I couldn't get the stand up.

Anyone else suffer the same?

Jack the suspension up, it will happen if your set up is normal with one rider, helps your feet reach the ground but doesnt help the side stand, obviously worse with luggage on with the suspension compressed.

Buy a bike better suited to your short stature, your pillion carryings, an overall all round lack of ability and if I may suggest it, without so much fuel (which is heavy in itself) and the necessity of a bloody great tank. You wanted 'presence' and all the lights and boxes, now live with it.

Your a bit of a cheeky **** aren't you. You have no idea how tall I am or my riding ability.

I any case that has no impact on the fact that this bikes suspension allows it to sit so low that when fully loaded it is very difficult and sometimes not possible to get the side stand up.

My mother said that if you haven't got anything good to say say nothing so maybe you should follow that advice.

I'll try that suggestion thanks.
It still doesn't sort the problem fully load as it on Maximum 'jack' then anyway.

Did I read that right, your pillion is getting on whilst your side stand is still down?
That's probably your problem.

I find the same on my GSA. I run it with suspension set at Rider + Luggage. but now and then, if the road slightly slopes away its not easy to put the stand down and get off without it wanting to tip over. Was looking for a standard GS side stand which in theory should be 20mm shorter.

The Low chassis GSA-LS's do suffer slightly with this issue, firstly I presume that you have removed any side-stand footprint enlarger if fitted, if not please remove it and this will help to give you a slightly shorter stand leg which helps.

You can grind or file some of the material from the 'heel' of the stand where it butts up to the stop, this will allow the stand to move out a bit further, thus allowing the bike to lean over more, or simply do as LBL suggests and jack up the suspension to the 'two helmets' setting when parking conditions don't allow enough lean.

I fitted 40mm lowered Wilbers.
Had to chop 40mm out of the center stand, ( this has made it a lot easier to put on the center stand compared to stock).
Also increased the bend in the side stand to cure the lean angle and also to clear the chopped center stand when both in the up position.
