2018 GS Rallye TE with Akrapovic youtube clip (Euro 3)

I chose not to use my BMW Akro HP end can (Euro 3) because of the noise. Bit too loud for touring, and that was with the baffles in !
 
Yes, out on the road it is louder!!! but I can always switch back!!

Off to France at the end of April, so that will be a good tester!!!! Eeeeeekkkk.

Im off to Spain, through France end of April and I have to get my 500/600 miles for the first service before then !

I have a 2017 Euro-4 GS with Euro-3 Akra slip-on with db-eaters removed.Definitely not too loud because going faster than 60 all you hear is wind noise anyways.Good mellow sound with no annoying drone at all.A little bit deeper than stock,that's all.I'm preety happy with it because it sounds like a big boxer should sound.If Akra I would buy Euro-3 only because it gives you the option to make it a little bit louder than stock.Otherwise save your money.
I guess if you want loud the only way to go is to get the headers without cat and exhaust flaps.
I had them on my 2012 GS but I went back to stock headers with Akra slip-on with db-eaters removed because the headers were a liitle bit too loud for my taste with an annoying drone at certain rpm's...

Got a few trips this year booked, Spain, Venice, Germany and hopefully onto Majorca for my father in laws 70th. Bring on the summer ...

I wish people would learn how to pronounce Akrapovic correctly!
 
Just had the first service done on my 2018 TB and have now put on my previous HP Akra (Euro 3) on. It’s funny, for almost 600 miles I’d got used to the standard can during the initial run-in period and now I’ve the Akra back on I can instantly tell the difference; it’s not that much louder than the standard can, it’s just a bit fruitier and not as muffled.
