I’ve arrived at tonight’s illustrious accommodation in Brive… Best thing I can say is that it has aircon. And it’s cheap


Doesn’t even seem to have a bar so I’m glad I’ve brought my own.

Nah, no need as there such establishments as supermarkets to be discovered nearby and a need for an opportunity to leave the old boys alone for a while, let them catch their breath for a bit

I can’t be bothered going out again, but I had a lovely lunch at the bistrot, earlier. 2 courses and a coffee for €17.50 so I’m fine until brekkie.

Update - we are now a no show as I have taken unwell ( now having to take opiate tablets to cope ) and are heading back to the U.K. ASAP .
Thank you SID and Anne , for your kind offer of hospitality . If I can get these issues fixed I will catch up with you folks at some point
