Interesting colour. Is it the beige KAZI brown looking more pale here?
They were fine on my 411. Not so sure about the new one but can't see any reason why not.Do these fit on the Himmy 450 front crash bars ?

The Kharzi brown (the colour of the bike I rode) is an off white, almost creamy colour. It looks better in the flesh than it does in the press release pictures.
Re the side stand, it's a casting and a lot of thought must have gone into the design and manufacture of it, ( it's not just a straight piece of tube) to make it strong enough to support the bike, if it was made any longer it would be fouling the centre stand, not as simple as just fastening a hockey putt to it.
The stand foot is only about 30mm wide by 75mm long, definitely need a side stand plate on soft grass.
Thanks MikeWe filmed the Himi 450 last week but the footage didnt work out so just been again this morning and took it out again
Had a bit more time and was able to concentrate more on the Bike than stressing over filming (a day of it is quite intense)
What a cracking machine this is, it should be in the running for bike of the year, it is everything you need for modern road condidtions (the old Himi wasnt) I even saw 90 on the clock at one point (on the private road I have access to)
Handling is brilliant, power is totally sufficiant and plenty for a bit of fun, fit and finish top notch
Only bit I found a bit lacking was the front brake (but not seriously so)
Our video will be out soon will post here

Seems all RE's suffer from slightly weak front brakes (adequate, though) fitting EBC sintered pads does really help
I have ordered mine. Black / yellow, with the gold tubed wheels.

Will do Mick. Just as soon as I lay hands on and ride it home. 80 odd miles of twisties should do it!ng forward to your thoughts on the new bike.
I have a dealer only a short distance away from me.
Definitely having one out to try when I get back off me hols.
Thank you kindly that is appreciatedLooking forward to EKIMYRF’s video, one of the very few ‘channels’ I watch.
That’s great news as was expecting to get mine sometime around November and with black wheels.update from jack Cooper of Cooperb enfield regarding delivery times as of today
Good evening ladies & gents!
I just wanted to put up a post as I have had a lot of people messaging me about delivery times on 450 Himalayans & I have also seen a lot of poor information being posted online.
Yesterday we had an official bulletin sent to us from Royal Enfield which all UK dealers would have received…
I’m not going to bore everyone with the whole email but I will pop below some of the headline facts.
Production has been confirmed to start in May 2024 for the Hanle Black Tubeless [for all markets, including India] and will come with the originally planned Gold Rims.
Confirmed allocation for the UK will be made known in next 10 - 14 working days.
Bikes are expected to start arriving into the UK late June / early July & will be arriving in order of customer deposits.
All Hanle Black Tubeless backorders are expected to be fulfilled by August.
I know this is a little later than we all wanted however, I think we can take that the Tubeless Gold Wheels are going to look the dogs testicles![]()
All other colours excluding Kamet White (we expect to see these in the coming weeks) are now coming through in good numbers.
Hope this gives everyone a little bit more of an understanding as to whats happening.
If anyone has any negative comments please feel free to keep them to yourself.
Any doubt contact your supplying dealer…
Dunlop Trailmax Mission.So…….I might take my 450 to Picos in September instead of GP. The jury is out .
But if I do , I’ll change the OE Ceat tyres for something a bit more offroady to ride some of the trails .
Was thinking something along the lines of TKC70.
Needs to be at least 50/50 with a bias towards Road as I’ll be riding back through France .
Never had anything more off that biased than TKC70s except on KTM EXCs.
Sizes are
90/90-21
149/80-17
Tubeless !
Thoughts ?
