Now over 1k miles and getting 89 mpg through Germany. Just as well given ARAL autobahn prices!
……….and maybe better looking mirrors!Doubt I’d buy much - maybe the rally seat for off road. I love the minimalist design. Dry bag on rack would be it for me. Maybe small SW Motech tank bag. Less is more when travelling. Definitely not metal boxes - would look like a bastard step child of my GSA!!![]()

Why are you filling up at motorway services? You should be able to work it so that you fill up in the evening ready for a quick departure next day then do the same again when you find a small town to eat in at lunchtime.
We had to do a couple of long autobahn hauls to start with. It was easier just to fill up. Fear not, we'll be sniffing out better prices from now on. €2.30 I point blank refused to pay it. I sooner loose 10 minutes of time and come off the motorway to refuel. Now over 1k miles and getting 89 mpg through Germany. Just as well given ARAL autobahn prices!![]()
Luxembourg is the cheapest, also as was noted in Austria. France is a right ripoff in some places, as is Germany, latter still being cheaper by way of comparison.Isn’t Belgium still the cheapest place for gas?
the oil and filter were buttons, an annual service (up to 6k miles) will maintain the warranty was told. Please tell me I’m the only one that found Amy the most interesting part of this video?!Some interesting stuff in this vid
Interesting to get the mechanic's view on tubed versus tubeless, although there was no mention of how incredibly hard Scouts are to remove / re-fit by hand. Some interesting stuff in this vid
