If I had to think of one word to describe it - Brutal ! ( that might be a little harsh) Collected it today and wow ! Is it better than the Streetfighter ? No not really but it is very different and certainly not worse - The SF was quite clinical with its sole purpose of going forwards as fast...

C`mon then, what`s it like?
Is it still as mental as previous versions (wheelies off the throttle in first 4 gears) or has it been tamed a little now?
Or is it too early to tell yet as you`re running it in?
Other riders were flocking around it like ‘wasps round a jam jar’

It is as mental If not more so than previous generations if you want it to be but easily ridden sensibly if you so choose too
The engine is truly fantastic as is the fueling and the electronics that keep it all in check are so bloody good that high wheelies can be maintained with ease without risk of binning it backwards and yes it will do that off the throttle in the first 4 gears if you so desire
The greatest thing is that the Evo has the most magnificent suspension set up which in auto adapts seamlessly to road and rider inputs with preload damping and compression all being taken care of - bimble along and its like a soft wafty feather cushion, start throwing some throttle and lean angle and it sports itself up to cope which it does
Loads of different modes available but in reality street mode is all you could ever need with the evo suspension
But my alternative is performance mode which is customisable for wheelie height, slide control, throttle response and suspension for pre load damping etc but on that front it may as well be left in auto it is so good
I was concerned that moving from the Ducati would be a mistake but it isnt - the bike is a true weapon and just brilliant
