2024 XSR 900 GP

It looks like bit of a BBW ( bollocks; back; and wrist ) killer for old guys; no doubt that engine will save the day.

Clip ons are above the yoke so not too bad especially for non midgets

You don't have to be too old for clip on claw( carpal tunnel) to strike; at least they're not down by the axel; :D

It is interesting to see that even amongst the often-skeptical and hard to impress journalists, there's a real buzz of excitement around this bike.

They should have sent someone from here to inject a dose of negativity to balance things up !

What’s the difference between the 2024 XSR900 and thus used 2022 XSR900
Look similar to me

Xsr900 2022-2024 is the same, if your asking what’s the difference with the GP Its just bars and partial fairing opposed to headlight fairing.

You can also have the non GP, standard xsr900 in red and white.

Wrong !

The GP has totally different suspension to the XSR, as it’s taken from the 2024 MT09 SP and then tweaked to suit.
The GP also has the latest level 3 quick shifter.

Yeah your correct It has the KYB but does not have the ohlins from the sp, im sure the geometry is tweaked with some bracing to the headstock and moved engine mounts, are the rear sets further back ?

Does the race pack come with ohlins shock as well as the Akra.

Great colour scheme

Reminds me of my old RD350 YPVS
That’s why I like it better. It’s a lot less showy than the GP. More understated.
Couldn’t imagine stopping at any village bar or cafe in Scotland with the GP. You’d get laughed off the park ffs!! 🤣
…………or anywhere for that matter!! lol

………..you’d definitely get nicknamed Wayne at your local biker watering hole!! 😬

I think that says more about the blinkered vain wankers that you obviously meet at such places than the bike ! Thank god I don’t ride in UK .

Perhaps you’re right, but I still live here unfortunately. Scotland more so than the rest of UK suffers from this. You still can’t roller blade down the high street with a mohawk either! Frowned upon 😬
I used to live in Phoenix years ago and my neighbour had an R1. He didn’t know who Kenny Roberts was or his son when he’d just won the MotoGP title ffs!!
There you can be anonymous and ride what you want……….but not here - especially if you’re old enough to remember Wayne Rainey like it was yesterday!
PS. Best ad those to your basket too!! 🤣
Just messin - enjoy your new scooter. I’m just jealous cause I can’t afford or have space in my garage 😬
