I also reckon that sales of the 1300GSA/big Multi tourer etc will start to decline as people don’t want to spunk £25k on a bike they do one big annual trip on when they can get a fully farkled tourer for £10k or less and which can do 90% of what the big bikes can do for 40% of the price .
I’ve already pointed out that in Spain , Voge sales are up hugely and are second only to BMW in 2024.
But the Spanish bikers are a tad less insecure and not so vain , so are much quicker to embrace change rather than slag off new bikes as being chinky shit.
Of course the irony being that many parts of ‘premium’ brands are made in China and of course many manufacturers such as BMW and KTM have some of their ‘lesser’ models made in China .
As always , the UK will be the final bastion of blinkerdom
