100% , I recon the Hornet and many new bikes in the pipeline will be pitched at Chinese prices not “what they used to enjoy” That is apart from Bmw and Ducati who delight in lifting the brand into the stratosphere

Agreed .
I also reckon that sales of the 1300GSA/big Multi tourer etc will start to decline as people don’t want to spunk £25k on a bike they do one big annual trip on when they can get a fully farkled tourer for £10k or less and which can do 90% of what the big bikes can do for 40% of the price .
I’ve already pointed out that in Spain , Voge sales are up hugely and are second only to BMW in 2024.
But the Spanish bikers are a tad less insecure and not so vain , so are much quicker to embrace change rather than slag off new bikes as being chinky shit.
Of course the irony being that many parts of ‘premium’ brands are made in China and of course many manufacturers such as BMW and KTM have some of their ‘lesser’ models made in China .
As always , the UK will be the final bastion of blinkerdom 😀
 
It seems it is the same weight as the 502.
A friend had a 502 and the weight was fine when riding it but as it is a tall bike, it was a bit top heavy for a short arse when moving it about the drive, especially as mine is sloped! I can't alter that dynamic by shedding kilos from my belly that was suggested in another thread when a moan about the weight was mentioned.
I look forward to when they can get the weight down to Tiger Sport or Tuareg levels. Same with the Voge.
 
Great looking bike and agreed about £25k stuff. I’m becoming a dinosaur cause will never pay over £15k for ANY motorbike and won’t buy Chinese either! 🤣
