26+6=1. Or 2, depending. Alternatively: In search of a Hufflepuff.

So here we are. Turns out it's more than just a blue plaque.
Huge respect to The Welsh People, particularly the locals for allowing it to remain unscathed and unblemished.

Who would have thought such an innocuous looking field could be so important in the creation of a modern, yet historic, country?

It turns out there's a small museum in the village. I called in, via the farmhouse next door where Alwyn the proprietor lives and he gave me a very full and interesting talk about the exhibits and the history of the concentration/internment camp which was used to house German P.O.W.'s before and after the Irish were incarcerated here.
If you have any interest in Irish history I would say this place is a must visit and was much more than I expected.
No admission charge but donations by cash are well received.
