2610 Routing Question.

Hi All

A quick question regarding mapsource and the 2610. I have the latest v9 euro maps installed and 4.80 on the unit, but when i try to plan a detailed route and send it to the 2610 it displays "detailed maps do not support routing".
When i upload the info from the unit to map source it seems to just plot a very rough route.
Is this normal? I wanted to use specific roads through the alps etc..

Sounds like it's routing on the basemap.

Are you sure that the maps are 'selected' on your 2610?

Try zooming in close on an area of your proposed route. If it won't get very close, either your maps are not installed or not selected.

are you sure that the the latest card material is installed on your unit, and not only on your PC/ mapsource?

If so, also the setup on your device can be differend than in mapsourse, for example, mapsource "avoid highways" and your device, "most fast way incl highways"
