Preparation is well under way for the 29th Wirral Egg Run 2009
We are now a fully recognised charity (reg no 1124006) who's sole aim is to raise funds for sick children in Wirral.

the run can only continue to be a success with the support of the localal and wider comunity, last year nearly 7000 bikes rode the 20 mile route from new brighton to Clatterbridge raising over £ 25,000 for the jellybean appeal, as well as donating several hundres Easter eggs for the sick children in Wirral.

to Make this run a success we need vounteers to act as marshals and stewards along the route

Can I ask anyone who would like to be a marshall for the 2009 event to please email [email protected] to register their interest and anyone who does not ride but would like to help to please email [email protected] to register their interest.

The event can only continue to be a success with the help and support form the whole community

Sponsorship forms will be available in january by download or collection from motorcycle dealers within the merseyside area

we need 60+ bike marshalls and 220 stewards to man the road junctions and crossings

This is the largest egg run in Europe atracting over 5,000 riders last year and raising over £25,000 to help sick kids in the Wirral now we are a charity in our own right we can do more for local sick kids with gift aid donations.

Sponsorship forms will be on the wirraleggrun.co.uk site soon for download and in all the local bike shops across merseyside
