36000 mile service- Help?

Hi Guys,
Could anybody tell me what needs looking at for a 36000 mile service on my 1200 and is it something that could be done by myself. I am slightly competant. Thanks for any help

He sounds over qualified to me....

The Hall of Wisdom on ADVRider isn't a bad resource, and there's many threads in the GSpot section of ADVRider that cover servicing.

If you're really into it, you could buy Jim von Baden's DVD, covering just about everything to do with servicing and more

Just done mine myself.
Not too hard. Take your time and it's all pretty simple really.

i was told

just had my 30k service
when i said what is the cost was for the 36K
i was told the servicing starts again
so its the cheap one - same as the 6k

unless

you know different

The alternator belt needs changing at 36k, ISTR. And it's a 12k service, not a 6 k one.
