Okay about to sell the zx6r as i need to rest my poor back. Wanted a gs for years and will have 3K will i get an 1150 for that (without it being a complete wreck) What do you think

3.5K and you will get an 1150gs. but you will need to be patient. I got mine Y reg 2001 35k on the clock service history for 3.5k including full bmw luggage mint bike. i struck the week before christmas with a handful of £20.00 notes hard to say no too.

Looked good on the additional pictures i had e-mailed to me. Might be worth your while spending the £12 to subscribe. Then you can use the for sale and wanted section and PM people if you see something you fancy. You will easily save more than the £12 cost of joining.

R1150GS, Nov 03, 17040 miles, FBMWSH, ABS, Heated grips, Carbon hugger, Adv screen, New tourances, Light yellow with black engine,absolutely immaculate 10 months tax & MOT £5000 no offers i'm afraid. Bought it this week for £5200, but have seen a 1150GSA i would really like to have near to me. They always turn up the moment you have forked out the pennies Grrr
Had an 1150, part exed it for an 1100.. just as good a bike IMHO and no appreciable performance difference....

I'd be quite happy with a sorted 1100 In my opinion they had a "Gruntier" engine perhaps not as speedy but deffo more "grunt" down low especially if you have the obligatory Remus and crossover link pipe and K n N
