A week left of my USA trip and the Zumo has gone bonkers, it has been working fine but now the touch screen is on about a ten minute delay with each touch.
Tried the re-calibration thing and it wont respond to my touch at all.

Any ideas?

I think its shagged.:(

I see that Amazon are doing the Zumo 660 for $640, or c. £400, in the USA, at the moment. It might be an opportunity to upgrade reasonably cheaply. Then, when you get back home you can bung a micro sd card with City Navigator Europe in it.

Reset the unit...should sort it out.....maybe:blast

Soft reset: If your unit "freezes" you can restart it by turning it on while pressing the [ + ] button (top left hard button. This will force it to restart. No data is lost
Take the battery out: For some issues it is necessary to take out the battery for at least 10 minutes. This is often the cure for the "dead Zumo syndrome"

Hard reset (total user data delete) Only if you have your data.... routes/fav backed up on a SD card
To perform the reset:
Turn off the unit
Keep your finger firmly pressed on the bottom right corner of the touch screen
While keeping it pressed, turn the unit back on
After a little while (30 sec?) you get a question on the screen "do you want to erase all user data" > Select "Yes"
All data like routes and waypoints, plus your personal settings are now reset.
After startup you can re-import all routes and favourites again, and/or place the archive files back

When mine started playing up i was advised to remove battery, leave out for about 5 minutes then re install, everyting worked fine after that:thumb
