6000 mile service abroad?

Promised I would update you all on service abroad!
Had the bugger done at home:( Didn't get a reply from dealer in Portugal, sent a couple of emails then tried ringing but no reply after a few attempts.
I don't know if the dealer has surcumbed to the credit crunch or not?
Any way had it serviced at Glasgow and alls well. Might call at the Portugal dealership when I get over and see if they are still there!!!!!

Glasgow is abroad, isn't it? They've got funny money and speak a different language.....

:)

Depends where you come from!!! I'm from Yorkshire but don't tell anyone.
Whicker man and all that.
Best place I've ever lived and the most friendly.:beerjug:

Had my 1150 serviced in Spain mid trip as I had the same dilemma a few years back. Did a bit of research about the dealer (as you would do for any dealer you wanted to work on your bike) & turned up on the day having booked up in advance. At the time the € was pretty attrractive so I paid a fair bit less than I would have in the UK. It was a huge dealer that sold/serviced cars too and they sent me along the road to the an even bigger GM car dealer that had a ..... bar in it!!!!! Bloody fantastic attitute on how to spend your time while your vechile is being serviced. Maybe they thought they'd get extra business when you pranged it on the way home :augie

Pleased with the service, got by book stamped, nice friendly bunch. Wouldn't think twice about doing it again if needed mid trip.
