"Anyone checked actual distances against the odometer reading on these bikes? "
Yes, my trip computer is almost the same as the Garmin distance over 1750 miles. The speedo is almost spot on at 30mph, a bit out at 50 and reads 75with the garmin showing 68 mph.
D'ya mean "MPH"? Or d'ya mean "MPG"? I have read that on certain high-performance cars, using super unleaded may give a slight power increase if the engine management can detect the higher octane fuel. I think in most cases (cars and bikes) the sensor is there to suppress the timing curve to protect the engine if low octane fuel is detected. But I might be talking bollox.
What I can certain of is that the use of super-unleaded will empty your wallet faster than regular unleaded
