Nice one chasr.....and a wise choice if I may say so......:clap...Though don't hit the pies over Christmas, there's not a lot of room on 'em...

I would also have taken it over the Triumph.....I had a Speed3, and the dealer put me off Triumphs for life....

A brace of 'Termignoni's' and the jobs a good 'un..........:thumb2

Should be delivered 9th Jan - http://www.ducati.com/en/bikes/my2008/ModelPage.jhtml?family=Monster&model=M696-08 . Arsey's not impressed. He thinks I should have gone for - http://www.ukgser.com/forums/showthread.php?t=167636 . I tried the ordinary Striple, which is good but more of a naked sports bike, whereas I wanted something a bit less 'in yer face.' The Striple R, which is very nice, would have cost me another grand

I would love an Street Triple R :

Not even that keen on the looks, but was blown away when I rode it-even better than the D675 I had in 06.

I'll wait till Triumph drop the price and/or offer 0% finance, assuming I can sell the Ducati SC first.

You'll end up as a woman if you aren't careful. The seat rams your knackers into the back of the tank too readily.
Other than that,for £5.5K its a great sounding/handling bike.Makes the 1100 Monster look expensive at £2K more.
