Took delivery a month ago, red/black/spokes/corbin comfort seat/
Touratech goodies/remus end can/Secdem screen/(hugger and fender awaited)/Baglux tank cover with Alpha bag/ BMW panniers/ Givi maxi box/ 1400 miles/ it loves scratching around welsh lanes and so far i'm well happy.
Tourance tyres i find ok so far, bikes a brill mix of tourer cum sports off roader and does everything well.
Previous bikes inc R80gs, R1100RT, K100, K1100Rs, GL1000, R100RT x 2, CB550, CB400/4, CJ250T, GT380, RD250 and R80/7.
To date this is the most versatile and the most fun.

Picked it up end of September, now done 1800 fun filled miles...absolutely blinding fun...i have not had a bike that has made me smile day in and day out.
Today was a half decent stoppie, and a beautiful power wheelie which, totally smooth, it came up sweetly, held on the throttle, and landed equally gently before turning onto Gt. Portland Street

Got a blue-black-black-wirespokes...
Had a Husky SM570R before, and a GSX-R1000 before that, and before that two R6's.... And, waaay before that a DT125LC... and before that...
Got the GS because the next path of upgrade would have been a brand new or souped up superbike.. which would have meant that my license would have been sent to outer space... I also like riding my bike, so putting 24k miles on the GSX-R over two years was like drenching it in cat-pi55, nobody wanted to even see it...
... etc etc.. plenty of good reasons to step away from the (wonderful) superbikes and get a bike that works well in all environments...

I'm a displaced Welshmen living in California riding a yellow, mags. Ordered it nearly four months ago. Took delivery about a month past, so far 1800 miles. Dealer is a couple of hours away and is screaming for the bike to get the 600 mi. service. Tough to part with for the day. Up an down the Cal coast twice. Only problem has been a strange fuel feed problem, may have been bad gas. But think related to injection problem. It's cured itself now but earlier idled rough, throttle surged.
So far nothing the bike does not do well!

wreford................st1300 pan european, still got it as a matter of fact. solid bike great motorway mile muncher, but pretty bland and boring really. typically honda almost too good if you know what i mean also pretty heavy when two up + panniers etc does not inspire confidence on cornish b roads. and that is pretty much all that cornwall has!
