The little flap that sits over the filler cap lock is stuck shut so I can’t access the cap lock, feels like it will damage the flap if I try it any harder. Anyone else had this?

No

Spoke to dealer, they have seen this problem before, one of the ball bearings was stuck, they had seen the problem before, a scalpel to push the bearing out of the way has fixed the problem, fuel tank now full and ready to head for my second service. Loving the bike.

A small squirt of WD40 should help to flush any crud out, followed by some dry graphite to keep everything nice and lubricated
