A big thank you to Bahnstormers

The story......

Whilst on a trip to europe my clutch started slipping due to oil contaminating the clutch plate.
After some checks I found that it was the gear box seals leaking :( I managed to keep it going for 3000 miles!!!!!!

So after my return I phone Bahnstormers to give me a price on the new seals and clutch during the conversation with the parts guy he says you have had these changed before I said yes in 2009 he taps his computer and says that they are still under warranty and I should speak to service.
He puts me through to service and book the bike in for a check.
After the check they say no problem we will replace the seals and put in a new clutch free of charge so I drop the bike off on thursday morning and collect it in the evening all done nice and clean ready for my next adventure.
So i would just like to say a big thank you and what a great service Bhanstormers provided to me.

Cheers
Eddie

Bahnstomers

they are the best of the bunch - and the roads on the way to their Lower Farringdon, near Alton location (1 of 2) are really good fun - well worth a visit

Another Big Thank-You To Bahnstormer

+1 :thumb2

Just to reiterate the above, Bahnstormers are excellent people to do business with.

A couple of days ago I noticed a loud 'singing' from my rear end
My crown wheel bearing had gone again and rotating the rear wheel by hand sound much like an old tramp grinding his teeth.

Got straight on the phone to 'Stormers where the service guys said no problem, we can do it tomorrow, stop by tonight to swap to a loaner and it will be ready the next day.

Excellent I thought. I enquired as to the cost, stating the price they had charged me earlier in the year. 'Earlier in the year sir...well the reason you have this work done with us Sir is that the work is guaranteed for two years' 'Are you sure?' I asked, 'I have covered 18,000 miles since' 'No problem' they repeated, 'Bring it in'

So I did, yesterday, and got loaned the new 1200GSA.

Phone rang at lunchtime today to say all done, so went down and swapped the bikes over.

In the back of my mind I thought 'How much are they going to charge me?' Its a bearing, surely its just wear and tear!

Anyway, true to their word, they replaced the crown wheel bearing free of charge and even gave the old girl a bit of a clean. Excellent Service!

Once again chaps, many thanks for sorting me out so quickly.

Best regards

Dazlove
