A bit has fallen off

I was taking out the mounting bolts for the panniers, when a little silvery thing fell to the floor. It seems to be a cylindrical space with a washer at the end. I cannot see where it might have come from.

I always undo the bolts since one shook itself free and cosrt £15 to replace.

If I remember righly its a spacer for the bolt you've removed. It can be a bit awkward to refit if it's the one I'm thinking of, but it can be done.

I must have lost another one at one time - I'll have a look. As long as the bike isn't about to fall apart on me.
