A couple of pints somewhere north?

Seeing the thread about folk in London meeting up I was wondering if there is any interest in a pint or two in Inverness or Perth sometime. I can get the train to either and train home, last train for me from Inverness is about 2030 so late afternoon pint.

Who is out there?

Good plan. Recently relocated to Clackmannanshire.... I would be up for a meet-up... Not sure how my trains work to Perth but happy to investigate . Inverness would need a hotel or B&B which is also possible

The much derided....unfairly so...BMW club have regular meet ups in several places around Scotland, but mostly not near public transport, which rules out a pint if you are driving.
But, good idea to meet up for a lovely cup of tea and a sarnie. How about Pitlochry ish?

I'm Moray based ( a few miles S.E from Lossie ) so if you need a kettle stop Pete, just let me know ..and a Portsoy night may also work, ?

As for a rail meet, then I'd limit that to Inverness, as I need to conserve funds for forthcoming trips.

If my presence doesn’t put the kybosh on anything, I can do the same 20.30 train from Inverness as Northern Jock, or trundle down to Pitlochry. Although, can we check that there will be cafe’s/pubs open later in the afternoon. Did a days walking around Dunkeld a week past Saturday, but on getting back into town around 16.00, most places were closed. All we wanted was hot coffee.
