Just wheeled the bike out of the garage to find that I have a nail in the back tyre. The local BMW garage is shut today, with it being a Monday. Looks like my elaborate plan of finishing work at 11pm and making it to the local before midnight has been kayboshed.
Anyway, the back tyre is a Tourance which has done about 1000 miles. The nail is almost in the middle of the tread pattern, not near the side walls and it doesn't seem to be a very thick nail, judging by the head of it.
So, new tyre or repair ? Where's the best place in or near Edinburgh to have it repaired if it's viable, not sure whether Motorrad will do it.
As an aside, i'm sure the nail is from all the shite that my neighbour is throwing into a skip whilst building his bloody extension.
Subtle forms of vengeance ?
