I’m dealing with a French firm (Ride2fun) who have created a mobile phone holder combined into an enduro bike handlebar chest protector. They’ve massively underestimated how popular this would be and have completely sold out their initial production runs so are awaiting a new delivery in mid-Sept at the earliest. My dilema is that they are not prepared to deliver to the UK and are not encouraged to by being able to sell all they can make without us.

They will happily sell me one for delivery to an address in France, for onward post, so I’m asking if one of you might help a fellow Tosser when the time comes. I will, of course, fully cover all costs and provide something extra for your help… 😊Thanks

If you could have it sent to the camp site in Gedinne (and assuming the camp site is willing) I can pick it up next weekend. Not France, but close enough!

Hi Paul, I'm on a bike trip through Europe from mid to end September and can bring this over if they can deliver to our hotel.

We will arrive late in St Omer on Friday the 18th so this is probably not the best option.

We are in Strasbourg on the 25th and Reims the 26th so either of these days could work. If they can post to Italy, we are in Canazei at the same hotel for 3 days.
We head back to the UK the 27th.

Below is our itinerary with dates and hotel addresses.

Paul, you can get it posted to me and I'll send it on to you. Drop me a PM for details

Gents, I’m humbled by the responses. Thanks very much.

Mad Hatter, I’ll PM you directly since it looks like you’re a more permanent resident.

Thanks again to you all…😊👍

Hi Paul, can be posted to me and we will be back in the UK at Christmas for customs free onward posting. Colin

Some too bods on this forum.

I can help too if needed, just be aware you’ll get stung by customs depending upon the value of the item

Posting stuff to and from the UK is a pain since Brexit
Duty seems to apply via certain channels but I’ve bought £200 car bits from California and they arrived via FedEx within 5days and zero extra charges. Aliexpress stuff always goes straight through because the values are below the threshold, so it all seem a lottery… The thing I’m buying will be well below the threshold for additional fees.

Thanks Colin but I don’t expect customs to be an issue when the time comes. The item value isn’t that high.
