A few beers in Moffat

Well..the campsites were looking to be very quiet with only me there, however..I won't be there either !
Neither of the two will accept a camping car with awning ( without an external hook up to rcd ), and there are no available dates for tent only pitch...
Trying to save some cash for a longer trip beginning June, so the hotel prices are not an option.

Need to re-think :(

For the Green Frog you need to email them and mention UKGSER, I think it's blocked off. Online booking won't work

Well that’s me out! :D
*(As we are not a large commercial site, we are unable to accept Motorhomes/Caravans etc that exceed 8 metres in length)

Have you asked the caravan club site? They can probably take you

Isnt it funny, loads of interest in this event, yet travel 100 odd miles further NW to the last event of the year, and you can hear tumbleweed. 😂

Currently looking into something else, accommodation I could cancel at the last minute, if the weather decides to be amazing...in which case I'd camp, if allowed !
And more likely at the C/C site as that's only a 2 minute stagger back, 13 minutes to the Frog would be too sobering

Was looking forward to testing out a car carrying bike plus awning combo but some campsites do like their rules and regulations..Tim's at Strontian will be the best venue for that I reckon, very relaxed.

See you there then 🎅

Other than the noise those diesel mini heaters are brilliant, just carry a spare glow plug, otherwise you just get loadz of white smoke

Air BeeNbee booked, a couple of minutes walk from the fleshpot centre of Moffat..can cancel up until the last minute if necessary...but, doesn't seem right not to be camping at a moto meet
Still, there's a massive plus..don't have to share a shithouse with anyone :D
