Got the 1100 out today, and just after setting off , the clutch felt odd
so i adjusted the cable, and when i looked closer i noticed it was hanging on by strands

this is whats left of my old clutch cable ,on the handlebar end










Just a warning , take a look and see how yours is

Also check the white plastic sleeve that fits
in the clutch lever where bolt goes through,
pence to replace...

hmm, could by why my leaver is a little wobbly

Thought is was just play due to age of bike

Also replace the barrel that the clutch cable nipple locates into and fits in the lever.

They wear oval and stop rotating as the lever is pulled, which makes the cable bend/twist instead of staying inline when the lever is pulled.

the cable has bent and worn from moving
up n down

Also replace the handlebar as the bend is obviously putting stress on the cable. I should check the throttle cables as well.
