It's a nice idea. You could collect waypoints from all the members of this board and then flog the whole lot to NavTech - just like people sell e-mail address lists.

Next time I want to go to Caffle House Tearoom, Keswick, I'll know where to look up the waypoint!

I think this is a great idea - we could post places such as free bike parking bays in city centres.

Stupid newbie question alert


I've had TomTom for years and I could download enite files of points of interest (ie LPG stations) Can you do the same with the Garmin software.

I could just plug in all teh addresses as waypoints but would rather have them as POIs.

other than that its great
