A fyne wee day oot

That's us no long in after a nice wee day oot to the Welly.

The run up through Glen Orchy was nice and on the way through the glen we passed a bunch of blokes on bikes who were camping beside the river

Fruitcake and me decided to take a run through Inverary on the way home and bumped into Packer & Mrs Packer - who were in the car.

...but I do know I spoke to Fruitcake about F650/800GS screens, and had one of her rock buns .

If you ever need a rock bun quality control inspector just let me know.

A guid turn oot and a really guid day for a run. I'm a wee bit fed up o' the Crieff to Crianlarich road so I decided to head up through Milnathort/Bridge of Allan and Callander to get to Lochernahead.

On the way north I stopped off at the monument to Sir David Stirling, the founder of the Special Air Service. It was kind of SS meets SAS. Funnily enough, Sir David was lookin' doon on my bike and probably thinkin: "Behind enemy lines is aboot the only place that bike hasnae been dropped..."

I stopped at Loch Lubnaig and parked beside aboot a hundred campervans. Nice view though

There were some weird lookin' feckers at the Green Welly

A really good turn oot fae the SS troops, includin' Tash wi' her new steed. Sorry, didnae get a photie o' her steed, just her erse.

Her erse is the wan wearin' the furry hat...

Guid craic and guid grub then it was time to set sail for hame.

I stopped at the wee memorial to the RAF Tornado crew who crashed into the hillside just south o' the Lix Toll.

I also stopped and fed Hamish, a Hielan' bull who's mega friendly (if you ha'e stuff to gie him...)

He's a canny lump and a beautiful beast

Trundlin' back hame through the Trossachs, I passed Rob Roy's birthplace and then I stopped to pay homage at Robmack's birthplace

I thought that they would have had a street named after their favourite son but I could find nae trace o' a Robert Road or a Macfarlane Mews. I did find a Caliper Crescent mind you.
