Tae Daftmill Distillery in Fife.

If anybody remembers this thread fae a few weeks ago, they might fancy this...

I've been in touch with Francis Cuthbert the farmer/distillery owner and although they dinnae hae a visitor centre yet, he's kindly offered to give a group of us a guided tour o' the newest distillery in Scotland.




He can take a group of up to 10 o' us so it'll be first come first served on the thread for places.

Nae date set yet but I would propose to hae it one weekend day maybe next month or early May. We could meet in the mornin', hae a wee run aroond the East Neuk o' Fife, hae lunch somewhere and then hae a tour o the distillery (it's near Cupar) in the afternoon. Alternatively, just a' meet for lunch at the Cree Inn, Abernethy (guid grub there) and then hae a bimble ower to the distillery fae there.

I'll keep a place for Wully as he's on holiday the noo and aff the board.

Anybidy else up for this?

If there's a guid few mare than ten fancy it, Francis has offered to rope his brother in and dae twa groups but this would need to be mare than just a couple o' extra folk IYKWIM.

Ronnie, this sounds like a good idea , this would be my first outing with the SS and the ukgser , live local, near Kinghorn in Fife. been at the pub you suggested before,excellent food. Will keep an eye on the forum for the exact date etc.... cheers John

I would partake of this However due to my work schedule I may not make it so ifwhen dates come up i'll be able to commit or not at that point. I'm desperately trying to understand the taste of whisky as I do like bananas
