Ok im playing around with an idea and wondered if you guys would get on board?

Idea:
A meet in the NW with camping, where some of the experienced tossers can share their knowledge... There could be a building with rooms to show and tell. i am willing to organize it.

Why:
cos i like to hear others tell their stories and show their skills. and i wont be in the country when the next HU meeting is on. and i think you guys have some cool stuff to tell. I would like to learn some skills for my trip.

Venue:
To be confirmed, i have an option to a large camp site with bunkhouse in Cheshire... Sandiway.. or any where else im open to suggestions?.

Cost:
just the cost of the camping and building.. no profit to made by anyone.. we can even get a hog roast in depending on how many come.

When?:
Early april at weekend of course.

So what do you think?

is it worth organizing it?

any ideas?

bring you own booze and as for the hookers mmmmmmmmm plenty of sheep........ if you like that sort of thing???

bullshit bash

+1 can supply can supply some dirty female company only thing is its lambing season:eek:

:( JohnnyWave not at HU 10th anniversary

Was great to catch up with you there last year.

April you say..

I'm hoping to be at Owen Bush's forge in but if the dates don't clash I'll do my level best to come along.

When is your big trip starting then?

late april for the departure to the states, cant wait.. i know missing the big HU bash!!!!!

I'd be up for this ..............let me know if you need any help with the organising.

If the campsite rules allow I'd be happy to get Lou to bring our gas powered BBQ down in the car and I'll cook a load of burger etc for everyone :thumb

go for it..

I too might not be able to make it if its, easter weekend sadly.

But, I did a similar thing for off roading down in Rhayader one year and now its become pretty regular. So, go for it, and see who comes along.

If am able, will certainly give it a go! I haven't actually been camping in my own neck of the woods apart from the GS Llangollen events, I seem to wind up a lot of other places.. so would be nice to get out and do some.

And if it was of interest, could bring some kit out for folks to look at if people wanted, but thats an aside.

I did know a pretty good camping barn, but sadly i think it might have been sold for a house last year. Will see if I can track down the down the details and will PM them as an option.
