A new 1200 GS for 2012

I think I'm in the minority here but I like it

So, it's a purely cosmetic exercise (from reading the MCN link) - hardly 'new', is it?

Mike:confused:

They are marketing it as a "new" model, but you're right, it's just another colour.:rob My eyes, my eyes!:blast:blast:blast:blast

What a con.

How many more reincarnations of this bike are there going to be which offer nothing more than a different paint scheme?

BMW need to get their act together IMHO and come up with a truly new 1200GS/A before Triumph capture a large part of the market with the new Explorer.

Looks are purely subjective....but like it or not this bike offers nothing new.

BMW won't, and Triumph won't.:rob

the right colours, but not necessarily in the right order.

?

Do you think BMW are playing a (dangerous) waiting game?

Letting the new Tigger come out, not to mention the Super Ten is now launched and soon the Honda Cross’thingy? Not forgetting the Italian Multil compost.

When all are settled/launched then “Here ya go” but in German! The new Wazzer cooled GS!

Like I say a dangerous game to play re sales.

Just my penny’s worth, :rob

TD.

I'm not keen.

Then again, my ideal GS would be entirely black, in a mix of gloss, matt and powder coated finishes.
