Okay im putting the hat on , Im a nonce when it comes to electrics:blast
Ive got my self a pair of hella 50s and there is already a centec fuse box/panel ,wired into the bike :thumb
Now do i just run one wire from each lamp to the positive and then two to the negative/ground on the panel ,its already earthed ,
Where the hell does the switch go ,and how do you fit it ,:blast
does that have to go all the way to the panel as well then there is a orange wire and a green one from the switch:confused::confused::confused:
Any help will be appreciated ,and yes i can take crap:blagblah:blagblah:blagblah to the expence of learning something
:flag:pullface

.....

not the best way to descride your lack of electrical knowhow. :comfort

Step away from the bike. If you are making assumptions about wiring based on the colours, you are really better off leaving the job to a qualified electrician.

Zigo thanks for the link ,this is what I was looking for
womble , I think you are right
Ive bolted the lights and run the cable onto the bike loosely , so think thats as far as im going
I did think that because i had the centec fuse box on and a handle bar switch that i wouldnt need a relay :augie:augie
thanks again lads:flag

Fair question, but best not call yourself a 'nonce'

Nonce first came into widespread use in UK prisons, where it is primarily used by prisoners to refer to convicted sex offenders, especially abusers of children. "Nonces" are traditionally targets of physical abuse from their prison inmates, and so usually go on Rule 45 (formerly Rule 43)[1] , the rule that enables the segregation of vulnerable prisoners from the other prisoners for their own safety. The Rule 45 section of British prisons in which sex offenders are segregated (also known as going on 'The Numbers' or, in rhyming slang, 'The Cucumbers') is often referred to as the "nonce wing"

for the non sparky type doing there own wiring, would recommend fitting a fire extinguisher to the bike, just in case. :D

I assume the relay numbers are standard on all auto relays? Never really taken any notice of them even though i've seen them.
There's usually a small diagram showing how to wire it on the actual relay, so i go by that.
