A ride report from the Sun's George and Lynn

George needs to sober up and get back out there on his plastic pig. He's cornering like pussy, he hasn't even got rid of the moulding pips and is posting pictures:eek:

:D Good report:thumb

Ha Ha :D

But George has grown out of getting his knee down on roundabouts, he also understands that proper quick road riding has feck all to do with lean angle. George knows all about the tyre grip trade off, he knows that on his favourite nadgery b roads, (often shared with 4x4's and horse boxes) the quickest way round a corner aint seeing how far you can lean a bike over..... (cos all the time you're leant over, you aint on the gas...) He knows that to accelerate so hard out of a corner with the throttle on its stop and the front getting all light, means you stand a bike up right (ish) first. :thumb2 :thumb2 :D

Cheers G.

Nice little Ditty Ed,
er...
Where did you get the headboard from again ?
:blagblah:blagblah

Even the dog was on his side....

Why is Darren doing up his flies at your back doors?

No No, That's Del the builder. He's just knocking up a bit of mix .....

I wouldn't mind betting that George also knows that more lean angle with the correct position of the rider can mean greater cornering speed, conservation of momentum and that he can smoothly feed in the power as he lifts the bike and feel what the tyres are doing. I'm sure that he'd tell me that balance between cornering grip and drive is everything.

Perhaps George is upset because he's realised he's wasting those two centimetre strips of unused rubber.:toungincheek

Yes yes yes ..... :comfort

George is fully aware of how he might position himself while he's riding...

George only gets a doddery old touring bike, so there's only so much he can do with it before it runs out of ground clearence ....

I like it, but I'm pretty sure the original included more nipples ;)

When there are none on the front, you'll be quick enough to come up here and ride proper roads. Until then........:augie

:D

Be a while before he replies....probably still dizzy from that roundabout:D
