My phone's been red hot a' day and some o' yous must be wonderin' what's goin' on in view of some of the posts this morning.
Well, I've been sacked/removed as Mod/call it what you will. Simple as that. No big deal to be honest and certainly no fall outs between me and Paul BHT. Paul is the site owner and his decision is law. I've no problem with that whatsover.
I do have a bit of a problem with Paul's reasons behind his decision and he knows this, as we've chatted on the phone as well as exhanged PM's today. I'd promised not to cause any fuss over this but recent posts and the many phone calls I've received have made me come out in public (oo-er). I've made Paul aware of my decision to post this.
Paul's reasons to me is that a Site Member (Paul's words) i.e. a fellow Moderator (my words) has reported to Paul both by PM and later confirmed verbally that I have been going behind Paul's back and slagging him, calling him an ignorant twat/knob or words to that effect. Initially, I was mystified and totally baffled. Paul explained to me that had no option than to strip me of my Moderatorship due to my disloyalty. Again, I'm paraphrasing here but that's the gist of what happened.
I was a bit shell shocked at being de-Modded but with hindsight, I'm more shocked at the fact that Paul has a "pet rat" in the Modroom. I've worked out what's happened. I did indeed call Paul ignorant. In fact, I called him an "Ignorant ****" in a PM but this was in reference to a fairly trivial matter (Paul knows what this is as we've now discussed the matter). This is the only time to the absolute best of my knowledge that I've ever called Paul ignorant. I fully accept that I should have been man enough to PM Paul and complain as opposed to being critical of him behind him back. I've apologised to Paul for that (not contacting him direct) albeit he knows that I stand by my description of him in that one situation.
The only other scenario other than the recipient of my PM being a slimeball is that Paul has lied to me here (which I very, very much doubt) and that he actually read this Private Message and does not have an inside "Informant" (that sounds very dramatic I know). I find that highly unlikely both that Paul would lie about this and also that he could access PMs.
There is no animosity between Paul and I over this. I won't be flouncing off nor will I be causing any waves or stirring shite. I really do appreciate the posts on here and the calls of support but let's get things back on an even kiel here. It's made a dull Monday a wee bit more interesting, that's all. Get posting shite again and ha'en a laugh. That goes for you tae Johnny

And finally Esther...I used to be in the CID. I've had and run "Informants". Without exception, they are not to be trusted and are to be kept on a very tight leash. They always work with their own interests very much to the fore and with their own very selfish agenda.
I'm extremely saddened by this revelation of back stabbing (not back stabbing on my part I hasten to add) but not really surprised.
