A quick heads up:

On the A470 this afternoon I saw a new police unmarked bike. Couldn't get a good view as he had stopped a bike on the other side. Didn't look like the usual suspects - ?new jap sportsbike. Just police lights and rider has police stripes on the SIDE of the helmet.

Anyone know any more?

I should say it was just south of Nant Du, Cardiff side of Pen Y Fan.

Be careful of sportsbikes "pushing" you - I don't think you would clock this as plod in your rear view.

Is there a web site we could look @ to see new tools they have bought with SAFETY CAMERA (LOL) money???:bow

Brings back Happy memories of a Sunday in April 2001 between Highley and Much Wenlock on me old K75S, went that way because Police presence due to the biker Cafe at Bridgnorth. He was on a dark green Pan, in civvies (white plain bone dome should have been a clue, too late)sitting outside a farm with the olde Gatso. Couple of miles on in Wenlock mirror spied said Pan, blue party popper lights, reckoned 87 mph  cost me £40 plus three stars :comfort, luckily he didn't notice no Tax as I had just bought the bike that Friday :thumb I don't mind being nicked in a built up area but on the open road FFS, little traffic, sunny day (OK do gooders tell me to obey the laws of the land :augie) Then bugger me, just had that removed in 2005 and on 4-4-2006 on the A5 North zero tolerance Wales got done for 48 in a 40 zone, the pratt leant out of his Cage to eyeball the reg, only got a picture of a Black Stealth R1200RT, black leathers, dark visor and like the twat I am, I turned round went back and Bollocked him. To add insult to injury I then looked big and paid up :blast
