I just watched a 2025 clip of the Bridgestone trail on you tube, now has anyone done this loop before and is there anything of a dramatic nature? i have a r1100gs so no lightweight but i love her with continental trail attack 3 tyres, but more importantly i have never done any real off roading of any sorts, track riding and road riding many years so well versed in handling a motorcycle but i also know this is a different discipline of riding one i have little proficiency in. So my question is does anyone have any words of warning about that trail given my statement above, anything i should do to my bike prior to going on it (if i do) and just anything else more experienced riders in this type of riding want to share. Most appreciated look forward to getting to ABR in a day and a bit.

I have returned!!! From my first Abr, im shattered but what a fantastic time with a great bunch of like minded people. Very impressed with the whole event, food was amazing someone said it was crap i was struggling on what to have there was so much choice. Managed to get a few test rides in, randomly the bike i really liked was the little royal enfield himalayan 450 its proper fun and im used to big engine bikes. Great selection of music, magic tea pot was a hive of low tech fun and enjoymet. The heat!!! Jesus the heat i shouldnt moan as wey would have been worse wet but yeah it was a challenge in gear. To all who went hope you had as good a time, next year ill try and go.in a group but still had plenty a good time with all the people i met and talked to while there. See you next year![]()
