I know there's the search button, and I've already spent a load of time doing just that....
Picked up a 97 1100 GS last week... every other start up or so the ABS lights flash alternately and the system doesn't initiate....
Next time it does everything as it should.... The bike has had a new battery before I picked it up.. but saying that its one of the older ones that needs filling....
Now I'm Mr.Crap with electrics... but the batttery is showing 12.2 volts on a multimeter when the bike is switched off.....
I'm leaning towards thinking that the battery just doesn't have the cranking power, which is causing the voltage to drop too much....and throwing up the fault
I think the earth is fine.... no dimming of the tail light when indicators on etc.....
Is my diagnosis more than likely correct? if so Another battery may be the answer... I obviously don't want to buy one if I'm wide of the mark
