If you throw down some shiny coins Gaz will dance for you as well, wont you Gaz:D

Congratulations

Well done you two. But that picture is very 70's looking. And you look like you might be getting a visit from the Sweeney :thumb

Seriously, well done. I know how hard you work, and it is well deserved.

So you drop your bike in at 10.00am for a three hour service. Return at 6.00pm and it's not finished until 8.00pm?

Sounds like the mechanic needs to speed up his workrate a bit.:D

crapaud. you want to see jono at work, cleans and touches up everything he touches, plus takes time to explain and show you everything he has done to your steed. he would knock a service out in the required time but a visit to the ABW is aslo a social thing. not like the cold hearted stealers. i would recomend everyone in distance to use them. Massive :thumby: from me.

Johno is a bit on the camp side though but that dosnt make him a bad person

I agree with Fireman. Jono could knock out a BMW style service in no time, however he does a proper bike service so much so that when he did my 1150GS I thought it was a new bike as it had never run so well in all the years I have had it. There is no using cheap oil, spark plugs etc either.
The whole thing is a social event as well, not only a great service but coffee, biscuits and a good chat with Jono even answering my dumb questions and showing me how things should be done.
I would highly recommend getting a service there, and even if you are some distance away you could always book the "dirty service" and get a day on the lanes in the Peak District.

My comment was very much "tongue in cheek".:D

Although considering the comments about his campness and the comment above that he "touches up everything he touches", I don't want his tongue anywhere near my cheeks thank you.:ymca :D

Can people stop banging on about how good ABW is...

I need to book mine in for a service soon and he will be too busy.:beerjug:
