What you guys think of that ScottOiler equivalant. Cant remember what its called but Ive been using it on the bike for a while as its much cheaper than ACF50. Apart from the price I would like to use ACF50 but its far to dear IMHO.
Bought the litre bottle , will be able to bet years of use out of it . it dont take much to do the whole bike .. Comes with a small hand sprayer .great for the out of reach places . But what do i know ..
Applied in Oct, and not washed till yesterday, although quite a long affair to clean the stuff off, yes it is that good that it don't budge, see for yourselves
So I think that just about covers how good it can be, before this was applied the fork brace had been changed twice under warranty for corrosion 2 winters on the trot
Having said that, I havent used pro-prep. Scott oiler is magnificent stuff that I will use lightly in summer because it isn't man enough for winter conditions, but ACF is fantastic - Spend time applying it in Nov / Dec ( It is a pain in the backside ) and forget until the spring - a definite 10/10 .....
pro prep and acf50 are very different products. Pro prep is great in summer to spray on the plastics, especialy the black bits. It makes every thing look like new. acf 50 is more of a winter thing to stop the salt eating the metal bits.
