Off to the Hograost later, and I'll be trying a bluetooth adaptor when I get there...

Got an Active Plus and have the feeling that Aux 1 needs the power up connection on the circuit board sorting ( thats what the instructions mention)

I can't find anything on here about that , or on the Autocom site....

Any ideas please

If it's like my Super-pro, the power is enabled by default and you take a jumper off the circuit board inside to disable the power. The jumper should be next to the Aux 1 socket on the motherboard. If it has been removed, the person who did it should have left it sat on just one of the pins, or taped it inside for later use (if they had any sense). There may be another jumper as well, which changes the volume control behaviour when other inputs are in use at the same time, so you may have to experiment.

To get inside, there is probably a screw head (or two) under the label that you can feel if you rub your thumb over it.

Whatever you do, take good photos of the motherboard in case you dislodge anything while you're working on it, and only change one thing at a time while you're working.

Bryn I will chat with you at the hog ...and my b/t only works with the super pro as it has that power wire. will see you later:beerjug:

ps I think your problem is one wire missing 2186-8 I think?

Reading the manual, early Active Plus units came with the power disabled, but later units (with a certain sticker) have the power enabled.

Think mine hasn't got the sticker... but too late to sort it now I think...will discuss down at the Raost :thumb

Have a great time, I'm not going this year unfortunately.

See you at East Mids though :thumb2

East Mids will be another good one :)

Meanwhile spoke to Paul at Autocom... extremely helpful :thumb

Sent me a PDF of how to enable Aux 1...

So I then get the unit in my hands, and notice for the first time the white sticker on the side that tells me its already enabled :blast

Still, problem solved.... :Motomartin
