I have just completed a 3,000 mile alps tour ( with too many passes to list ) , Swiss, Austrian , Italian . All with auto lowering suspension and heavily laden . No issues whatsoever . Not a BMW though and no sticky out cylinders.

Look, look again then look once more where you want to go… have fun and don’t be like this Adventure (with a capital A) rider and you’ll be ok.

R1300Gs did 3000 miles in the Pyrenees last year and 3000 miles in the Picos / Spain last month all with adaptive ride height and no issues.
