Adjusting the gear lever

I need to raise the gear lever by about 10mm, but how the hell do you do it with the gear assist gubbins in the way???
Tried loosening off the nuts on the shaft to see if it'd move, but it appears to be solid.:confused:
 
No idea, but I got the HP rearsets, which doesn't help you, but are great if you want loads more adjustability.
 
Thanks for the HP rearset endorsements,

I've hit the HP catalogue a bit too much of late but I'm really tempted with the rearsets. How much did they cost?

It's just the same as any other but has the sensor unit as part of the rod, if you look below the sensor there is a lock nut and it is threaded into the unit same the opposite end
