Adv Screen

Just bought a new 12GS and have the opportunity of buying an Adv screen to go with it.
Are they worth the money and do they make a big difference to wind protection,noise etc..

I am approx 5.10" and would like expert opinions before i purchase...

I think personally that there is a huge difference.

I've ridden my 12GSA back to back with a standard 12GS and there is a huge wind reduction with the ADV screen & Winglets IMHO (I'm over 6ft).

I'm sure there are plenty of others who will give you expert opinions

There is a massive difference. I have had both GS and GSA and the GSA screen and winglet combo is much better.

Not that the GS screen bothered me though, just a bit more windy.

GSA screen on a GS - much better, Not cheap but well worth it IMHO. Also better for the pillion I am told.

Transforms the bike. I fitted one to my old GS and never regretted it. Now have a GSA and forgot how bad the GS screen was - until I had a GS loan bike for a day. Expensive but the best £300 you will spend on the bike.

The higher bracing bar also makes a perfect location for satnav. BMW have a £30.00 bracket made for it which takes a Zumo. A bracket for a standard screen would cost considerably more

I have opted to go with the Adv screen and now look forward to collecting my new GS to see just what it is that makes these bikes so popular!!!!
