Hi all,

Just a quickie... :D

Have put a set of ADV wheels on my standard 1150 and the front seems to bind a bit more when spinning. I have not even test rode it yet as weather so bad.

I had to fit the ADV abs ring which sits behind the front disc fittings. Does this make the disc slightly more proud than on the standard wheels and will the sliding pistons in the callipers automatically adjust to make the comprimise.

Thanks in advance :beerjug:

If using late abs rings on an early abs bike, you may have abs lights start flashing on at speed. But not all the time.

Just a warning before you start posting asking for advice about the abs lights coming on :D

Just as well I did a test run  ABS kept cutting in at slow speed and I had no front brakes below 20mph :(

The front ABS sensor was double the maximum gap so I removed two of the thicker spacers and its within max and min now.

All ok and well tested.... well a 20 mile trip to work tonight with no probs.
