Advanced biker YouTube whoopsie

One of the reasons I am not convinced is that the "Auto" setting just alters the ride height or pre load according to the weight the bike carries ( unless I am very much mistaken) Dynamic suspension setting firms it up a bit but just means that the rebound or compression reacts faster to the road surface

So unless there was a big glitch and it "adjusted" itself when it shouldnt have ........

But As said Nigel is hugely experienced ex plod class 1 etc etc so who am I to argue .....

Your mates do seem to like a good crash when on holiday :augie

Can't turn ffs that's not even a bend, probably gazing at his mate in the mirrors, and what about matey behind !

Another possibility - agree. It is very easy to blame tech ... and as you say, that is not even a real bend :D It is just one of those 'moments' and hats off to him for having the balls to post it.

Who fcucked up and then tried to blame his tools

Was it the sun reflecting on his constantly flickering brake light or did he have his foot on the brake all the time?

No arguments from me

Although there is the possibility of trail braking to sort it out and of course they do flicker on camera as we have seen before ( this looks like braking though )

bend tighter than expected, complacency set in. it gets to us all at some point.

Both Nigel and Bob (the rider with the camera) are well above average riders, this looks like Nigel lost concentration and Bob was following Nigel's rear wheel rather than riding his own ride.

Cant blame me i had to miss out on that trip because my Daughter wouldn't change her wedding day !

I think we are reading too much into it. A very experienced rider - but they can also have "moments" . That is a twisty road. He has taken so many turns - left and right at good speed before that. What would be the "lack of response" on just that one corner? I think it is a moment where the rider just mistook a turn ... or just blipped on the throttle. The fly-by-wire is sensitive after all. It can happen with experienced riders as well.

Would be good to hear from him after he's had some more time to analyse and dissect what went wrong.

Suicide Corner.

I keep tellin ya'll, but nobody listens. :blast:D

The road will lull you into a rhythm, and then BAM... tightens right up :augie

This video was Rider Error.

Some people spend too much time thinking about 'advanced riding' instead of just chilling and going with the flow :)

Total rider error, imho, whatever the reason. Lack of concentration maybe. Panic braking mid corner, and that was not the LED effect.
Also I have gone from a 2014 LC to a 2017 and the bike does not turn in slower of less responsive, again imho.

With the greatest of respect if the handling is different you would think any compemtemt rider would be able notice it and not when in a corner. JJH

I don't like the latest version of the ESA and I am not a fan of the anakee111s but neither of them is going to cause a problem in that situation, pure rider error............ shit happens.

If you read my post correctly then you would realise I was saying its not the different handling of the bike.
