What exactly happened when the adventure was designed?
I've got an adventure, I used to have a standard GS.After 10,000 miles the standard GS was just fine, but after a mere 6,000 miles on the adventure,it is pogoing around like a mad thing...the rear shock seems to have NO damping whatsoever.
When BMW fitted the taller suspension, was it just a different spring, a different physical size shock body, or did they do something else as well, like alter the damping?
Yes ,I will be fitting aftermarket shocks, but whats the score...6000 miles on a pair of shocks!!??Or do I need to tear off across the sahara to really appreciate the mods BMW did to the suspension....
Anybody shed any light?
