Hi, I've got a 2003 Adventure and am going to fit a 'y' piece and a remus can, my question is does anyone have a Techlusion box fitted and if so do they recommend it? Any problems with remus cans????

Thanks....

Yes, I've fitted a Techlusion 259 to my 02 Adv, but purely to cure the surging - which I'm pleased to report it did very successfully.

The below dyno chart shows the result with a Y-piece & a Remus race can (which I subsequently replaced with the stock silencer) fitted.

The lower values are for the unit 'straight otut of the box', the higher ones after the techie tweaked it....

Mike:)

I fitted a Y-piece and a Techlusion R259 to my Adventure around 6 months ago. I installed a Remus Titanium end can about two months later ( to cut down on the backfire ).

I noticed the following:-

• My bike runs smoother with the Techlusion unit in place, but it runs quite a lot richer
• My bike is more responsive with the standard end can. The Remus does not feel as responsive but it has eliminated 90% of my backfires

I can noticeably feel the difference when adjusting the Techlusions setttings with the standard can, but with the Remus, adjusting the Techlusion doesn't seem to make much difference. I will probably go the route that Mike has gone - Y-piece, Techlusion, standard end can and a visit to the dyno.

thanks for the feedback chaps, I was planning to get a titanium road legal can rather than the race job . . .
