Adventure topbox on R1100GS?

Hi everyone,

I am currently trying to figure out how to mount an adventure topbox to an R1100GS luggagerack.
Preferably with use of the quicklock-system.


Anyone here ever atempt (and succeed)?

Any input would be greatly apreciated.

Ah, assumed you had an 1150 Adventure top box - no idea how you'd go about fitting that one

I welded a frame that would fit the original fastener. Round tubing and flat bars only.

Shame I didn't see your post sooner. I have that rack off a GS800 which I planned to 'adjust' because I thought I was going to buy a standard beemer box. Bought a givi trekker in the end so had to make something from scratch!

Will be putting the rack into the 'For Sale' section at the weekend.
